Overview of the Dashboard

The Dashboard shows a summary of task status and workload. It is split into two main areas:

a) Task Deadlines View (Upper Section)

The top half of the dashboard provides a colour-coded overview of all tasks that are:

-         Due to start (blue)

-         In progress (yellow)

-         Due to complete (orange)

-         Overdue (red)

-         Completed [last 30 days] (green)

Tasks are grouped by services such as VAT, Payroll and Bookkeeping shown horizontally, giving immediate visual feedback on task statuses across your client base.

You can filter tasks by:

-             All Users (default)

-             A specific user (e.g. to review one team member’s workload)


By default, the dashboard opens to the Task Deadlines view. A dropdown allows you to select the Company Deadlines view which ignores tasks and just looks at client deadlines.

b) Task Forward View (Lower Section)

This section gives a forward-looking projection of workload over the next three months, broken down by service. Each service is shown in a vertical bar format with volume indicators as a number in the column. This is particularly useful for identifying workload peaks and planning capacity.
