How do I use email templates from within Tasks?

To use a template when completing a task, open the task from the Tasks tab.

In the side pane you will see:

Clicking on “Compose Email” will take you to the option of creating a one-off email or selecting from an existing template:

You can select an existing template from the drop down list. The email will auto-fill with:

-         Data from the client record

-         Fields defined in the template


You can edit the draft manually before sending.


Important: Email deliverability depends on the receiving client’s filters. There is a risk of the email being blocked by the spam filter until the client has accepted the address or domain. It is best to test delivery with a few clients first.
