What Counts Towards Your Client Limit?
For subscription plans with client limits (e.g. Starter and Professional), the client count is based on the number of active clients in your account.
A client is defined as any organisation or individual that you provide a service to and that is recorded with a Client relationship type.
For example, one limited company plus Self-Assessment services for two of its directors would count as three clients. If those directors are recorded as contacts only, they are not counted.
The following are not included in the client count:
- Contacts (individuals linked to a client record but not treated as clients in their own right)
- Prospects (records not yet converted to clients)
- Archived clients (records removed from active use)
Only records with a Client relationship type are included in the client count.
